Career: One of 92 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better. 

2023-24: Team captain.... Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Named to the NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team.... Posted a singles record of 4-15 and a doubles record of 3-13 as a senior for the Bobcats.... Advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA New England Championship with an 8-5 win over Amherst's Micah Elias and a 3-6, 6-3, 10-4 win over Middlebury's Nikky Kondamuri (Sept. 30).... Earned a 6-3, 6-7 (7-4), 10-6 win over Nichols College's Richard Hartmann at No. 3 singles (March 17).... Picked up a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Endicott's Antonio Marsallo at No. 2 singles (April 23).... Teamed with Ben Adey '25 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Wallach Invitational with an 8-3 win in the round of 16 over Trinity College's Bud Fisher and Kartik Erodula (Oct. 14).... Teamed with Matthew Danielson '24 and won 8-1 at No. 2 doubles over the Nichols College team of Trevor Schwarzmann and Leon Zeis (March 17).... Teamed with Adey to win 8-6 at No. 3 doubles against Endicott (April 23).

2022-23: Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Went 2-4 in both singles and doubles play as a junior for the Bobcats.... Teamed with Theophile Sardain '26 and advanced to the semifinals of the Middlebury Invitational in the fall.... In singles play, Desai advanced to the quarterfinals of the Wallach Invitational.... Did not compete in any dual matches for Bates in the spring.

2021-22: Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Went 8-12 in doubles play for the Bobcats.... Played with four different partners in final four doubles matches of the season, winning three of them.... Teamed with Matthew Danielson '24 to win 8-5 at No. 3 doubles against No. 24 Colby (April 16).... Teamed with Leo Kupferman '23 at No. 2 doubles to win 8-7 (7-4) against No. 9 Bowdoin (April 27).... Teamed with Paul Zhou '25 at No. 3 doubles to win 8-7 (7-3) against Hamilton in a 5-4 victory for the Bobcats (May 1).

2020-21: Teamed with Nick Forester '23 and earned Second Team All-NESCAC honors in doubles.... Went 2-2 in doubles play, earning an 8-5 victory at No. 2 doubles in the Bobcats' 6-3 victory over Trinity (April 18).... Moved up to No. 1 doubles and earned an 8-5 win in Bates' 9-0 victory over Connecticut College (April 25).... Went 1-3 in singles play, picking up a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles in the Bobcats' 9-0 win over Connecticut College (April 25).
