2025-26:
Selected to the College Sports Communicators Men's Tennis Academic All-District® Team.... Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Posted a record of 11-13 in singles and 6-10 in doubles as a sophomore for the Bobcats.... Played most of the year at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles.... Diop got the fall started with a 7-5, 6-2 win over his opponent from Skidmore in singles and teamed with Josh Maller '29 to earn an 8-5 victory over their opponents from Hamilton at the Middlebury Invitational (Sept. 20-21).... Notched a pair of wins in both singles and doubles at the Wallach Invitational, defeating opponents from Brandeis and Trinity in singles and teaming with Maller for wins over opponents from Trinity and Colby (Oct. 11-12).... Picked up an impressive singles win over his opponent from D1 program Bryant by a count of 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 at the Bryant Hidden Duals (Oct. 25).... Earned a 6-4, 7-6 victory at No. 2 singles over his opponent from nationally ranked NCAA Division II program Florida Southern (Feb. 17).... Moved up to No. 1 singles and swept his opponent from Southern Maine by a count of 6-0, 6-0 in a 7-0 victory for Bates (March 1).... Notched a 7-5, 7-5 victory at No. 2 singles to help Bates win 4-3 over Brandeis (March 1).... Delivered a 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 win at No. 2 singles as Bates beat Trinity 6-1 (March 8).... Had a big day against No. 10 nationally ranked Middlebury, not only winning 6-4 at No. 2 doubles with Maller but also prevailing 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2 singles against the Panthers (March 14).... Teamed with Maller for a dominating 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles over their opponents from No. 18 nationally ranked Williams (March 15).... Had another day to remember against Colby, teaming with Maller for a 6-3 victory at No. 2 doubles and winning 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2 singles (April 4).... Earned a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles as Bates defeated Connecticut College 5-2 (April 19).... Teamed with Maller to win 6-4 at No. 2 doubles as Bates prevailed 4-3 over MIT on Senior Day (April 28).

2024-25: Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... Posted a singles record of 8-12 and a doubles record of 8-8 as a rookie for the Bobcats.... In singles play, Diop advanced to the quarterfinals of both the Middlebury and the Wallach Invitational in the fall.... Earned a 2-6, 6-1, 10-6 win at No. 4 singles over his opponent from NCAA Division II program Eckerd College (Feb. 21).... Notched a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles to help Bates defeat Nichols College 7-0 (March 1).... Earned a 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) victory at No. 3 singles to help Bates defeat Connecticut College 5-2 (March 8).... Picked up a 7-5, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles over his opponent from No. 39 nationally ranked Skidmore (March 22).... Swept his opponent from Trinity at No. 3 singles by a count of 6-0, 6-2, helping Bates earn a 5-2 victory (April 12).... Finished the season strong with a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles over his opponent from Colby (April 27).... In the fall, Diop teamed with Tylan Ozkuzey '28 and advanced to the consolation semifinals of the Middlebury Invitational (Sept. 21-22), the round of 32 of the ITA New England Championship (Sept. 27), and the quarterfinals of the Wallach Invitational (Oct. 12-13).... Teamed with Ozkuzey again in the spring and picked up back-to-back wins at No. 3 doubles over opponents from Nichols College, where they won 6-4 (March 1), and Connecticut College, where they battled to a 7-6 (9-7) victory (March 8), both wins for the Bobcats.... Also teamed with Ozkuzey for a 7-5 win at No. 3 doubles over their opponent from No. 12 nationally ranked Middlebury (March 30).... Teamed with James Sacco '28 for a 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles over their opponent from No. 15 nationally ranked Wesleyan (April 13).

Personal: 2024 graduate of The Roxbury Latin School (Mass.) where he competed in tennis and XC.
