Career
: One of 90 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better. 

2024-25: Team captain.... Selected to the College Sports Communicators Men's Tennis Academic All-District® Team.... Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Named to the NESCAC Spring All-Sportsmanship Team.... Posted a record of 5-15 in singles play and 4-17 in doubles play as a senior for the Bobcats.... Advanced to the quarterfinals in singles play at the Wallach Invitational in the fall, defeating his opponent from Colby College 6-3, 3-6, 10-8 to get there (Oct. 12-13).... Earned a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles, helping Bates defeat Nichols College 7-0 (March 1).... Earned an impressive 6-2, 4-6, 10-4 win at No. 4 singles over his opponent from No. 3 nationally ranked Tufts (March 9).... Swept his opponent from No. 12 nationally ranked Middlebury, winning 6-3, 6-3 at No. 4 singles (March 30).... Picked up a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles to help Bates defeat Trinity by a count of 5-2 (April 12).... In doubles play, Adey teamed with Nicolas Ozer '27 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Wallach Invitational in the fall, defeating a team from Trinity College by a count of 8-4 to get there (Oct. 12-13).... Then in the spring, he played at No. 2 doubles with Evangelo Kapothanasis, earning a 7-5 win to help Bates defeat Nichols College 7-0 (March 1).... He and Kapothanasis earned an impressive 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles against No. 25 nationally ranked MIT (March 19).... The duo also defeated Trinity's No. 2 doubles team by a count of 6-4 in a 5-2 victory for Bates (April 12.

2023-24: Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Posted a record of 4-10 in singles play and 4-11 in doubles play as a junior for the Bobcats.... Advanced to the round of 16 at the Middlebury Invitational, winning 6-1, 2-6, 10-7 in the round of 16 (Sept. 16).... Earned a 6-2, 7-6 (7-3) win at No. 6 singles over Nichols College's Oscar Junyent (March 17).... Picked up a 3-6, 6-4, 10-7 win at No. 6 singles over Colby College's Sriram Das (April 14).... Moved up to No. 4 singles and earned a 6-1, 6-1 win over Endicott's Julian Richtarich (April 24).... Teamed with Nicky Desai '24 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Wallach Invitational with an 8-3 win in the round of 16 over Trinity College's Bud Fisher and Kartik Erodula (Oct. 14).... Teamed with Evangelo Kapothanasis '25 to win 8-2 at No. 3 doubles against Nichols College (March 17).... Teamed with Kapothanasis to win 8-6 at No. 3 doubles against Trinity College (April 6).... Teamed with Desai to win 8-6 at No. 3 doubles against Endicott (April 23).

2022-23: Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Went 1-1 in both singles and doubles at the Wallach Invitational, advancing to the "C" Flight singles quarterfinals with a 7-6 (7-4), 6-2 win in the round of 16 over his opponent from Trinity.... Teamed with Evangelo Kapothanasis '25 to pick up an 8-4 win in the "B" Flight doubles quarterfinals.

2021-22: Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... Competed in the Wallach Invitational in the fall, did not compete in the starting lineup in the spring.

Personal: 2021 graduate of Waynflete School (Maine) where he competed in tennis, ski racing, lacrosse, and soccer ... Cum Laude, 9x state champion ... Outstanding Senior Athlete.
