Rahul Vasishtha joined the Bates men’s and women’s squash programs as assistant coach in September 2025, bringing international coaching experience and a passion for developing high-performance athletes. Most recently, Vasishtha served as a national coach with the Singapore Squash Rackets Association, where he designed and implemented training programs for national squad players, mentored athletes in technical and tactical development, and traveled with teams to major events including the KL Junior Open and the British Junior Open.

Before his work in Singapore, Vasishtha coached at Shiv Nadar University in India, helping develop student-athletes who went on to represent India in international competition. He also gained early coaching experience with the Squash Rackets Association of Kuala Lumpur, working with the junior development program.

Vasishtha holds a Master of Business (Sport Management) from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College at the University of Delhi. He is a WSF Level 2 certified squash coach and is committed to empowering athletes to reach their full potential on and off the court.
