What experience—big or small—has made a surprising impact on you?
Switching from a coxswain to a rower taught me how much hard work can pay off.

I got a back injury last year, which taught me how important it is to take care of myself and my recovery.

What’s a value or principle you try to live by?
I try to take advantage of every opportunity I get; I would like to have no regrets when I'm older.

What’s something about you that might surprise people?
I was a coxswain my freshman year of high school.
