What does leadership mean to you?
Being elected to serve as the captain of the Riverside Boat Club Juniors was both an honor, and an incredibly transformative experience for me. Through this experience, I learned how to lead by example, be observant of both big and small issues, and be a reliable teammate and friend.

What experience—big or small—has made a surprising impact on you?
In 2024, during my first season with Riverside Boat Club, I stroked a quad with three teammates of mine -all of whom started at community programs as I did. We ended up making it to the final at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta in the U-17 4x, placing 4th. This experience showed both me and the rest of the boat that no matter what your background is, you can be successful through hard work and determination.

What’s a value or principle you try to live by?
My high school's motto, "Dare to be True."
