2025: Named Second Team All-NESCAC for the second straight year.... Selected to the College Sports Communicators Softball Academic All-District® Team.... Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... With pitchers fully aware of her talent at the plate, Yen was able to draw 15 walks while batting at the top of the order, seven more than her first two seasons combined.... She helped set the table for the middle of the order all season, crossing the plate 22 times.... Yen is the first Bobcat to earn All-NESCAC honors in back-to-back seasons since Kirsten Pelletier in 2018 and 2019 and she's the first Bates position player to pull it off since Stacia Saniuk in 2008 and 2009.... Drew a walk and scored a run in a 3-0 win over Framingham State (March 16).... Went 1-3 with two runs scored and a hit by pitch against Smith (March 16).... Yen had a remarkable season, entering play on April 10 with one career hit.... She finished the year on a 26-46 rampage, hitting safely in 14 of her last 16 games.... Overall, Yen hit .386 on the season with a team-high 1.006 OPS.... Her .449 OBP ranked fifth in the NESCAC.... She was also by far the team's best defender in the field, playing excellent defense at both second and third base.... Went 1-3 with a run scored, a double, and a walk against Nazareth (March 17).... Went 4-8 with a run scored, four RBIs, a double, and a stolen base in a doubleheader sweep of Middlebury (April 10)....
