2026 Alpine Skiing Roster
Biography
Personal: 2025 graduate of Northwood School (N.Y.) ... Cum Laude Society ... Dean's List ... Headmaster's Council.
What does leadership mean to you?
It means being a person that people can look up to, so working hard and being an honorable member of a team. Also, listening to everyone's ideals and respecting them.
What experience—big or small—has made a surprising impact on you?
My three years at Northwood School had a surprising impact on me. The small size of the school allowed me to come out of my shell and become a leader at the school. I became more outgoing and extroverted than I was at my previous school.
What’s a failure or setback that taught you something valuable?
In this season's U18 Nationals GS race, I did not place well. In the Slalom, I fell. This race was directly after having a career breakthrough in GS, so I came into it with a lot of confidence, but was disappointed with my result. This experience taught me that I can't focus on the outcomes of my races and measure my success by them, because skiing is so up and down. Instead, I need to focus on the core values of the sport: hard-work, being a good member of my team, and enjoying the process.
What’s a value or principle you try to live by?
Being kind and hearing everyone's side before making a judgment.
What’s something about you that might surprise people?
I ran cross country before going to Northwood and was a part of the team that won PIAA states for the 4th year in a row in my 9th grade year.
