Biography

Video: A new era for men's rowing

2016-17: Team Captain.... First Team All-NESCAC.... Rowed for the first varsity eight in the Bow seat at the National Invitational Rowing Championships as the MV8 finished second to Hobart in the grand final.... Bates won the 2017 NESCAC Championship.

2015-16: Second Team All-NESCAC.... Rowed at the Bow position in the first varsity eight as the Bobcats finished fifth out of 21 teams at the National Invitational Rowing Championships.

2014-15: Rowed at the Bow position in the men's first varsity eight as the Bobcats won the NESCAC title and earned a bronze medal at the National Invitational Rowing Championships.
