2015: Team Captain.... First Team All-NESCAC.... All-State for the third straight season.... NESCAC Fall All-Sportsmanship Team.... Tied for third place out of 50 individuals at the NESCAC Men's Golf Championship Fall Qualifier, carding a 75 on Saturday and a 77 on Sunday, earning First Team All-NESCAC honors and becoming Bates' first All-NESCAC performer since Garrett Johnson in 2013.... Earned All-State honors for the third straight year by shooting a two-day total of 155, tying for 10th place out of 55 individuals at the Maine State Championships.... Tied for 17th place overall at the season-opening Bowdoin Invitational with a two-day score of 156.... Placed second out of 63 players at the Husson Invitational, shooting a 1-over-par 70 on Saturday and following with a 71 on Sunday for a two-day score of 141.... Carded an 83 to help Bates win its second consecutive CBB tournament.... Tied for 92nd with a two-day score of 175 at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championships.
2014: All-State for the second straight season.... Followed his first-day 77 with an 81 on Sunday at the par-72 Brunswick Golf Course, finishing in a four-way tie for 16th place among 64 players overall at the season-opening Bowdoin Invitational.... Shot a first-day 78 and followed it with the team's best round of the tournament, a four-over-par 75 on Sunday to finish tied for 10th place at the Maine State Championships.... Led the Bobcats with a low score of 82, tying for 14th place overall at the Husson Invitational.... Tied for 33rd place at 164 after his team-best-tying 78 on Sunday at the NESCAC Men's Golf Fall Qualifier.... Tied for third best on the team with a 79, helping Bates win the CBB tournament at Colby.
2013: Earned All-State honors as a first-year.... In his collegiate debut at the Bowdoin Invitational, Rutkin carded a 77 on Saturday, and followed with an 82 on Sunday to pace Bates, tying five other players for 16th place with a two-day score of 159.... Rutkin matched his first-day score of 78 on Sunday, including nine pars and two birdies at the Maine State Championships.... His two-day score of 156 tied him for 10th place out of 55 competitors.... Finished in a five-way tie for 37th with a two-day score of 169 at the NESCAC Men's Golf Championships Fall Qualifier.... Teamed with Thomas Garone '17 and shot a combined 67 to take second place at the Colby Classic.... Claimed sole possession of second place among the 15 competitors at the CBB tournament with a 4-over-par 76.... Capped his impressive rookie season by leading the Bobcats with a two-day score of 161 at the NEIGA Championships, good for a tie for 74th place out of 189 golfers.
