Upon graduation, Strynar ranked in the top 10 all-time at Bates in these events:
200-yard freestyle relay, 3rd (1:34.40). Top split of 23.66, T-14.
Career: One of 89 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better.
2022-23: NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Helped the mixed 200-yard freestyle relay team take third place in 1:34.01 in a dual meet with Tufts (Jan. 20).
2021-22: NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Placed third in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:12.15 in a dual meet sweep of Saint Michael's (Jan. 8).
2020-21: NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... No season due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20: Earned All-America honors in the 200-yard freestyle relay as a first-year.... Helped Bates place second in the 200-yard freestyle relay at the NESCAC Championships.
Personal: 2019 graduate of River Bluff High School (S.C.).... Top 10% of senior class.... Varsity swim and dive team all four years.... MVP for Lake Braddock Swim and Dive sophomore year.... USA Club swimmer.
