Upon graduation, Nordstrom ranked in the top 10 all-time at Bates in these events:

800-yard freestyle relay, 8th (6:50.57), and 9th (6:52.52). Top split of 1:42.94, 17th.

1000-yard freestyle, 6th (9:47.10).

500-yard freestyle, 8th (4:41.03).

Career: One of 92 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better. 

2023-24: Team captain.... NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Scored points for the Bobcats at the NESCAC Championships with a 19th place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:33.54), a 20th place showing in the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:47.10), and a 22nd place finish in the 500-yard freestyle (4:42.53) (Feb. 22-25).

2022-23: NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Placed 20th at the NESCAC Championships in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 9:58.05, earning five points for the Bobcats.

2021-22: NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Helped the Bates "B" 800-yard freestyle relay team race to the finish in 6:52.52 at the NESCAC Championships, good for 16th place and 16 meet points.... Placed second in the 500-yard freestyle (4:58.12) in collegiate debut against Wesleyan and Wheaton.

2020-21: No season due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Personal: 2020 graduate of Pelham Memorial High School (N.Y.) ... Member of the National Honor Society.... National Scholastic Press Association 1st Class with marks of distinction recipient.... 2x Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Medal Recipient.... Founder of the first boys varsity swim team at his high school.... Instructor at the Empire Swim School.... Member of Empire Swimming’s National Team.... 3x Speedo Sectionals Qualifier.... 2x ISCA Junior Nationals Qualifier.
