Upon graduation, Gibbons ranked in the top 10 all-time at Bates in these events:
50-yard breaststroke, 1st (28.81).
100-yard breaststroke, 1st (1:03.05).
100-yard IM, 1st (59.02).
200-yard medley relay, 1st (1:43.07), 2nd (1:43.49), 3rd (1:43.70), and 4th (1:43.83). Top split of 28.49 (Breaststroke, 1st).
200-yard freestyle relay, 1st (1:34.01), 3rd (1:34.40), and 8th (1:35.07). Top split of 23.58, 12th.
400-yard medley relay, 2nd (3:47.06), 3rd (3:47.61), and 8th (3:48.80). Top split of 1:02.90 (Breaststroke, 1st).
50-yard freestyle, 3rd (23.70).
200-yard breaststroke, 5th (2:22.29).
Career: A nine-time All-American despite only competing in two NCAA Championships due to the pandemic, Gibbons graduates as the school-record holder in five events, including two relays.... An impact performer from day one, Gibbons fought through multiple health issues her senior year to lead Bates to yet another top-20 finish at the NCAA Championships.... One of 89 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better.
2022-23: Team captain.... CSCAA Scholar All-American.... NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Earned three All-America honors at the NCAA Championships, helping Bates place 11th in the 400-yard medley relay, 13th in the 200-yard medley relay, and 16th in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
2021-22: CSCAA Scholar All-American.... NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Gibbons helped the Bates women place 14th out of 46 scoring teams at the NCAA Championships, earning four All-America honors, including helping the Bates 200-yard freestyle relay team break the program record and take a program-best 8th place nationally in the event.... Won the NESCAC title in the 50 yard breaststroke.
2020-21: NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... No season due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20: Earned All-America honors in the 200 Free Relay and 200 Medley Relay.... Helped Bates place second in the 200-yard freestyle relay and third in the 200-yard medley relay (in a team-record time of 1:43.70) at the NESCAC Championships.... Took third in the 50-yard breaststroke at the NESCAC Championships.... Placed sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:04.74 at the NESCAC Championships.
Minor: Chemistry.
