Career
: One of 90 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better. 

2024-25: Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Went 7-16 in doubles play and 9-15 in singles play as a senior for the Bobcats.... Teamed with Iris Westmoreland '27 to earn a 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles in the fall to help Bates defeat Nichols College 5-2 (Oct. 6).... Teamed with Ava Lyon '25 and returned to Bates with some hardware after capturing the B Flight consolation bracket championship at the New England Women's Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament.... The format of the tournament was a team of two played a team of two from another school in a doubles match and two singles matches.... Whoever won two (or three) of the matches, moved on to the next round.... Gidlow and Lyon dropped their first match to a team from MIT, before going on a strong run to end the weekend.... It started with a 3-0 sweep of their opponents from Endicott in the consolation quarterfinals.... Gidlow swept Caroline Sutfliffe in convincing fashion, winning 6-1, 6-0.... In the doubles match, Gidlow and Lyon prevailed 8-5.... They kept it rolling in the consolation semifinals, taking two of three matches against the Smith College team of Clara Goshgarian and Lili Goshgarian.... It didn't start well, with an 8-0 loss in doubles play.... But both players delivered terrific performances in singles play, as Gidlow held off Lili Goshgarian for a 6-1, 4-6, 10-6 victory.... Lyon and Gidlow advanced to the consolation championship, and were declared the winners when the team they were set to face from Nichols College withdrew from the tournament (Oct. 11-13).... Teamed with Elise Hepburn '27 and picked up a 6-1 win over Connecticut College's No. 2 doubles team as Bates won 6-1 (March 8).... Gidlow and Hepburn also earned a hard-fought 7-5 win at No. 2 doubles in a 7-0 victory for Bates over Smith (March 14).... Then they dominated their opponents at No. 2 doubles by a count of 6-1 as Bates defeated No. 16 nationally ranked Williams by a count of 4-3 (March 16).... Teamed with Hepburn for a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles against No. 30 nationally ranked Vassar (March 23).... Teamed with Lizzie Frekko '25 for a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles as Bates beat Trinity 5-2 (April 12).... In singles play, Gidlow advanced to the round of 32 in the fall at the ITA New England Championship with an 8-2 win over her opponent from Springfield College (Sept. 20).... Earned a hard-fought 6-7 (4-7), 6-1, 6-4 victory at No. 4 singles in a 6-1 victory for Bates over Connecticut College (March 8).... Won in straight sets by a count of 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4 singles in a 7-0 win for Bates over Smith College (March 14).... Rallied from down one set to secure the clinching win, defeating her opponent from No. 16 nationally ranked Williams by a count of 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 at No. 4 singles as Bates prevailed 4-3 for their first win ever over the Ephs (March 16).... Impressed with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 3 singles against No. 10 nationally ranked Middlebury (March 30).... Earned a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles over her opponent from Hamilton (April 6).... Notched a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles to help Bates defeat Trinity 5-2 (April 12).

2023-24: Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Went 3-10 in doubles action as a junior for the Bobcats.... Teamed with Grace LaFountain '26 to pick up a 6-4 win playing D2 rules against the Mount Holyoke team of Catherine Vavra and Kennedy Bagley-Fortner at No. 3 doubles (March 2).... Teamed with Julia Anderson '27 for an 8-4 win over Colby College's Michaela Landry and Isabella Suk (April 14).... Teamed with Anderson for an 8-7 (7-5) victory over Endicott's Ashley Keaveney and Olivia Martinelli (April 23).

2022-23: Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Competed at the Wallach Invitational in the fall, did not see any action during the spring as a sophomore.

2021-22: Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.... Played mostly at No. 3 doubles and went 7-14 as a rookie for Bates.... Teamed with Drew Williams '25 to win 8-1 at No. 3 doubles in a 7-2 Bates victory over Endicott (April 24).... Teamed with Williams and won five of seven doubles matches between March 4th and April 3rd, including wins over NESCAC opponents Connecticut College and Trinity. 

Personal: 2021 graduate of Hathaway Brown School (Ohio).
