Career: One of 92 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better.

2022: Team captain.... Recipient of the Peter and Lois Doran Award for Track & Field Excellence.... Earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the decathlon.... Named a USTFCCCA Men's All-Academic Athlete.

Outdoor Highlights: NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Won the New England title in the decathlon with a career-best performance of 6,167 points, sixth-best in Bates history (May 5-7).... Took fourth in the javelin throw (46.95 meters) and helped Bates place sixth in the 4x400 relay (3:23.58) at the NESCAC Championships (April 30).... Helped Bates win the 4x400 relay in 3:26.99 at the Maine State Classic (April 23).

Indoor Highlights: NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... Earned All-Region honors in the heptathlon.... Placed fourth in the heptathlon with a career-best 4,517 points at the New England Division III Championships (Feb. 25-26).... Recorded a career-best throw in the shot put (11.09 meters) at the Lynn Ruddy Invitational (Feb. 18-19).... Ran a career-best time of 51.04 seconds in the 400 meters at the Valentine Invitational (Feb. 11-12).... Took fifth in the pole vault (13-1.5) and helped Bates place second in the 4x400 relay (3:31.98) at the Maine State Meet (Feb. 5).... Took second in the heptathlon (4,468 points) and helped Bates place second in the 4x400 relay (3:38.58) at the Bates Invitational (Jan. 21-22).

2021

Outdoor Highlights: NESCAC Spring All-Academic selection.... Finished fourth in the long jump and eighth in the discus with a career-best throw of 104-7 (31.89m) at the Bates, Bowdoin, Colby Meet #3 (May 1).... Took second in the pole vault (11-11.75), sixth in the 200 meters (personal record 24.35 seconds) and eighth in the shot put (31-3.25) at the Bates, Bowdoin, Colby Meet #2 (April 24).

Indoor Highlights: NESCAC Winter All-Academic selection.... No indoor season due to COVID-19.

2020

Indoor Highlights: Helped Bates place second in the 4x400 relay (3:27.47) and placed seventh in the triple jump with a career-best 41' 3.25" at the Maine State Meet.... Ran a career-best time of 51.53 seconds in the 400 meters at the Valentine Invitational.... Placed sixth with a career-best time of 9.08 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles at the Bowdoin Invitational.... Placed eighth in the heptathlon with a career-best 4,341 points at the New England Division III Championships. 

2019

Outdoor Highlights: Placed sixth in the decathlon with a career-best score of 5,382 points at the New England Division III Outdoor Championships, bettering his previous PR of 5,228.... Evans was fourth in a field of 12 in the 400 meters (53.47), fourth in the pole vault (11-10.75), fifth in the 100 meters (11.90), fifth in the discus (89-1), sixth in the shot put (31-5.75) and sixth in the 1,500 meters (4:51.05).... Placed fifth in the 400-meter hurdles (1:00.26) and fifth in the 110-meter hurdles (18.92) at the Maine State Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships.... Finished fourth in the decathlon with 5,228 points at the Silfen Invitational.

Indoor Highlights: Scored 4,082 points in the heptathlon to grab eighth place and All-New England honors at the New England Division III Men's Indoor Championships.... Evans moved into fifth place on Bates' all-time performance list in the event.... Won the heptathlon by scoring 3,951 points at the Bowdoin Invitational.... Ran the 400-meter dash in a season-best 52.48 seconds at the Valentine Invitational.... Placed third in the 400 meters (54.42) at the Bates, Colby, MIT Tri-Meet.
