Results

Career: One of 92 Senior Scholar Award-winners, who have participated in varsity sports for four years and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better. 

2021: Team captain.... NESCAC Fall All-Academic selection.... Placed 43rd out of 186 runners in a season-best time of 25:59.9 at the Connecticut College Invitational (Oct. 16).... Finished eighth at the Maine State Meet in 26:17.3 (Oct. 2) and seventh at the Bates Super XC Shootout in 26:30.8 (Sept. 18).

2020: Team captain.... NESCAC Fall All-Academic selection.... No season due to COVID-19.

2019: NESCAC Fall All-Academic selection.... Competed at the NCAA Championships and placed 240th out of 280 individuals with a time of 26:26.8 (Nov. 23).... Won All-New England (top 35) honors for the second straight year to lead the Bobcats by placing 17th among 384 runners at the NCAA Division III New England Regional Championships, covering the 8-kilometer course at Bowdoin in 25:22.5 (Nov. 16).... Placed 34th out of 145 runners in 26:53.9 at the NESCAC Championships (Nov. 2).... Led the Bobcats with an 11th-place finish out of 339 runners overall at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble, covering the 8-kilometer course in a career-best 25:00.2 (Oct. 19).... Earned All-State honors by placing fourth out of 157 runners at the Maine State Meet (Oct. 5).

2018: Earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.... Competed at the NCAA Championships as a first-year and helped Bates finish 26th out of 32 teams.... Rust finished third on the team at NCAAs and 193rd overall with a time of 26:06.7 (Nov. 17).... Earned All-New England honors and turned in a season-best time of 25:49.0 to finish 27th out of 416 runners at the NCAA New England Regional Championships (Nov. 10).
