WORCESTER, Mass. -- Thirty-nine members of the Bates varsity women's and men's rowing teams won NIRC All-Academic honors on Wednesday from the National Invitational Rowing Championships.
For a student-athlete to be named to the NIRC All-Academic Team, they must have completed one full year at their institution, maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.35, and be recognized as a varsity letter winner.
