MIDDLEBURY, Vt. -- Qualifying for the NESCAC Men's Tennis Championships for the first time since the 2017-18 campaign, Bates College suffered a 5-0 loss to nationally-ranked (#11) Bowdoin College in Friday's quarterfinal round, hosted by Middlebury College.
With the win, the No. 2 seed Polar Bears (14-3) move on to play No. 3-seed Williams College (14-3) in Saturday's semifinals after the Ephs eliminated No. 6-seed Amherst by an identical 5-0 score.
