AMHERST, Mass. -- #35 Bates College had its season-best three-match winning streak come to an abrupt halt Sunday as #21 Amherst blanked the visiting Bobcats, 9-0, in NESCAC men's tennis action.
The Mammoths (6-4, 2-3 NESCAC) opened the contest by claiming each of the three doubles contests. Kobe Ellenbogen and Ed Opie edged the Bobcats' top duo ofÂ
