LEWISTON, Maine -- Bates College men's tennis concluded the 2023 regular season with a second-straight victory as the Bobcats defeated Trinity College, 7-2, Sunday at home in the Wallach Tennis Center.

Liam Dun (Hopewell, N.J.),
Nick Forester (Falmouth, Maine),
Teddy Koide (Morristown, N.J.), and
Leo Kupferman (Montclair, N.J.).
In doubles, the No. 2 duo of
Matthew Danielson (Jr.-St. Petersburg, Fla.) and Kupferman defeated the Trinity tandem of Pierce Rutledge and Eduardo Sanchez-Carrion, 8-4. The senior grouping of Forester and Koide locked up an 8-6 victory at No. 3 vs. Kartik Erodula and Jack Ginter.
Alexander Gujarathi (Jr.-Plymouth, Mass.) enjoyed a 6-4, 6-1 showing vs. Sanchez-Carrion at No. 2 singles. Kupferman needed three sets (6-2, 3-6, 6-4) to put away Rico Buoro at No. 3.
Forester finished off Ginter at No. 4 (6-0, 6-4) while Koide, playing the No. 5 match, defeated Rutledge in straight sets (6-4, 6-2). Danielson defeated Erodula in a tie-breaker (6-4, 7-6 (7-5)) at No. 6.
