WALTHAM, Mass. -- The No. 22 ranked Bates College men's tennis team recorded its second shutout win in two days on Saturday, winning 8-0 at Brandeis University. The No. 6 singles match wasn't played due to time constraints.
The Bobcats, ranked No. 6 in the region, raised their record to 5-1 on the year, while the host Judges, ranked No. 14 in the region, dropped to 5-6.
In the closest match of the day, junior Michael Reiss (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) outlasted Mayur Kasetty 6-1, 5-7, 15-13.
Bates next plays at Tufts in a NESCAC match on Friday, March 27 at 3 p.m.
