LEWISTON, Maine - Nationally-ranked No. 21 Bates College blanked Babson College, 9-0, in a non-conference men's tennis match on Thursday. The loss puts the Beavers even on the season (3-3), while the Bobcats improved to 3-0.
Junior Max Berger (Concord, N.H.) had the most impressive victory of the day at the No.3 singles spot winning in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.
On Sunday, March 15, No.21 Bates will compete at No.4 nationally-ranked Middlebury College in its first NESCAC match-up of the season at 10 a.m.
