HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College men's tennis team, ranked No. 10 in Division III, defeated Bates 7-0 on Thursday to improve to 12-1, and drop the Bobcats to 7-8.
Trinity junior Brian Marsden (Hingham, Mass.) won a hard-fought, three-setter at No. 1 singles over senior All-American Will Boe-Wiegaard (Georgetown, Conn.) to lead the host Bantams.
Bates junior Greg Little (Portsmouth, N.H.) and sophomore Josh Feinberg (The Woodlands, Texas) won at No. 1 doubles, 8-4.
Bates will host Tufts University Saturday at 3 p.m.
