Aronson led the Bates men's cross country to the state championship on Saturday, taking third place out of more than 140 runners with a time of 26:13.23 at Bowdoin's Pickard Field Cross Country Course. The Bobcats tallied 28 points as a team, easily winning the 13-team meet over runner-up Maine (48 points).
