First-year Graca Bila achieved a personal record in the triple jump at the New England Division III Outdoor Championships, leaping 36-4.75 (11.09m), good for a tie for fifth on the Bates all-time performance list in the event. 

She also helped Bates score points in a pair of relays, with the 4x100 relay team matching their time from the NESCAC Championships with a mark of 49.12 seconds, enough to win their section and good for seventh place out of 28 schools at New Englands.

Bila was the only Bobcat on both scoring relays, helping the 4x400 relay team place seventh out of 23 schools with a season-best time of 4:03.27.
