Johnson finished second in the triple jump with a top effort of 35-1.75 (10.71m) at the Bates Invitational, good for ninth on the Bates all-time performance list. Johnson also took second in the high jump with a top clearance of 5-1.25 (1.56m). She also anchored the Bates 4x200 relay team, which took second place in 1:50.75. In each case, Johnson finished second only to a competitor from Division I program University of New Hampshire.

Johnson's performances helped the Bobcats place second overall, and first among Division III schools, at the meet.
