Lynksey carried the ball 23 times for a career-high 121 yards and two touchdowns Saturday as Bates football won 24-13 at Wesleyan. Lynskey averaged 5.3 yards per carry on the day and his touchdown runs went for 24 and 59 yards, respectively.

Through three games, Lynskey leads the NESCAC in rushing, and it's not even close. He averages 100.3 rushing yards per game, which is 31.6 rushing yards per game more than the next-best running back in the conference to date. 

The Bates football team's win at Wesleyan was a significant one as the Cardinals entered the game 2-0 and Bates stood at 0-2. On top of that, it's the first time Bates has beaten Wesleyan since 2005 and the first time the Bobcats have won on the road against the Cardinals since 1981.
