Rose was part of the Bates record-breaking 4x100 relay team Saturday at the UMass Commonwealth Invitational. He teamed with senior Derek Shen, junior captain Kevin O'Connor, and junior Aydan Gedeon-Hope to record a time of 41.81 seconds, breaking the previous Bates record of 42.04 seconds, set last year.
Rose also placed fourth in the 200-meter dash in 22.48 seconds, trailing just Division I athletes in the event. He even jumped on another relay for the Bobcats, helping Bates take sixth in the 4x400 relay in 3:37.22
