Long delivered one of the greatest passes in recent memory on Saturday to help Bates beat Tufts for the first time since 2010. With the game tied at 60 and 0.8 seconds left in regulation, Long in-bounded the ball from the left side of the court all the way to the right block, leading teammate Elsa Daulerio to the perfect spot for a buzzer-beating layup, clinching the win and securing the Bobcats their first 4-0 start in NESCAC play in program history. 

Long finished the Tufts game with 12 points on 4-6 shooting, six rebounds, four assists, a career-high four blocked shots, and a steal. Long leads the NESCAC in blocked shots, averaging two per game. Her 2.6 Assist/Turnover Ratio is also the best in the conference. 

Earlier in the week, Long scored nine points on 4-7 shooting, grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds, dished out six assists, blocked two shots, and recorded a steal in a 74-49 win over Saint Joseph's College of Maine.
