Junior Brendan Mullally (Baltimore, Md.) scored a career-high six goals and dished out a career-high five assists in the men's lacrosse team's 17-10 win over Middlebury on Sunday.

Mullally's 11 points are the most for Bates in one game since junior captain Matt Chlastawa tallied 13 in the 2017 NCAA tournament against Amherst when Chlastawa was a first-year.

After scoring one goal in the first half, Mullally found the back of the net five times in the second half to help the Bobcats pull away from Middlebury.

Sunday's win marks the most goals the Bobcats (2-1, 1-0 NESCAC) have scored in one game against the Panthers (0-1, 0-1 NESCAC) in program history.

Mullally also had a solid game in the Bobcats' 10-9 overtime win over Babson on Wednesday. In that contest, he tallied a pair of goals and an assist.

The Bobcats host defending national champion Wesleyan Saturday at 1pm.
