Playing at No. 7 in the Bates lineup, Dotson (Houston, Texas) defeated her opponent from Colby, 3-1, helping Bates prevail by a count of 8-1. It's the 20th straight time the Bobcats have defeated the Mules in women's squash.
Due to injuries, Dotson moved up to the No. 6 position, her highest ever, and defeated her St. Lawrence opponent on Sunday to help the Bobcats earn another win, this one by a count of 6-3.
Dotson is the first Bates women's squash player to earn NESCAC Player of the Week since Erika Parker '23 (San Salvador, El Salvador) earned the honor on Jan. 27, 2020.
The Bobcats (4-8) are 17th in the country in the latest College Squash Association rankings. They return to action Friday, Feb. 11 through Sunday, Feb. 13 at the NESCAC Championships in Clinton, N.Y.
