Sophomore Sam Kartsonis continued his consistent season for the Bobcats by finishing third on the team and in 31st place out of 146 runners overall with a time of 26:25.9 Sunday at the NESCAC Championships.

The No. 25 nationally ranked Bates men's cross country team edged Amherst in a tiebreaker to take fifth place out of 11 teams, finishing among the top half of the conference for the fourth consecutive NESCAC Championship meet, dating to 2017.
