Baseball senior captain Christian Beal (Flossmoor, Ill.) went a cool 5-8 at the plate in a doubleheader split with Saint Joseph's College of Maine Saturday afternoon.
In game one, Beal went 2-4 with a run scored. He followed that up with a with a 3-4 performance in game two, scoring two runs and driving in two runs as well. Beal also tallied a stolen base in the contest, a 6-5 win for the Bobcats.
In addition to his big day with the bat, Beal patrolled Saint Joseph's expansive center field, recording six put outs in six chances.
