Senior captain Chris Costello won 13-15 faceoffs to help the Bates men's lacrosse team defeat Saint Joseph's College of Maine 24-7 on Saturday in the season opener for the Bobcats. He also scored a goal, picked up 13 ground balls and dished out a career-high three assists in the victory.
