Ed Bogdanovich came up big on his senior night with the Bates men's basketball team on Saturday, matching his season-high with 21 points and grabbing six rebounds as the Bobcats recorded a crucial 59-56 win over Hamilton.

Bogdanovich (Portland, Maine) made 7-of-10 shots from the field and 7-of-10 from the free-throw line, teaming with the likes of junior Luke Matarazzo (17 points, four assists), Mike Boornazian (nine points, seven rebounds) and Mark Brust (seven assists) in Bates' comeback effort.

Earlier in Bates' 1-1 week, Bogdanovich scored a game-high 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a 77-72 loss at Thomas. Over Bates' past six games, Bogdanovich is averaging 16.8 points and 8.2 rebounds per game, shooting .458 (33/72) from the field and .761 (35/46) from the free-throw line in that span.

Bates has earned the seventh seed in the NESCAC Men's Basketball Championship, and will play at No. 2 Williams in the quarterfinals on Saturday at 2pm.
