Bates senior forward Dakota Donovan has claimed the female Bobcat of the Week award for the second time this month.

Donovan (Marblehead, Mass.) scored in all three games of Bates' 2-1 week, including the game-ending goal in Bates' 1-0 overtime win at Trinity on Saturday. Donovan also scored in Sunday's 2-1 defeat at No. 18 nationally ranked Amherst, and she tallied a goal and an assist in Bates' mid-week 4-0 home win against Maine Maritime.

The co-captain has five goals and two assists on the season, tying her career high for goals in a season and establishing a career high in points, with 12.

Donovan won NESCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors for her efforts, and is Bates' first NESCAC Player of the Week since Alix Vandeventer '12 in 2010.

Bates (6-3-0, 3-3-0 NESCAC) has won six of its first nine games for the first time since 2006 and is tied with Williams for third place in the NESCAC. The Bobcats next play host to Connecticut College this Saturday, Oct. 4 at 11am.
