Junior Elsbeth Caulo (Amherst, N.H.) was one of four Bobcats to score Saturday in a 4-1 victory at Connecticut College.

Then she tallied the game-winner Sunday in a 4-2 win over No. 20 nationally ranked Endicott. Sophomore Riley Burns fired from up top and the ball deflected off the keeper onto Caulo's stick. She put it away for her second goal in as many games and the third of her career. 

The field hockey team is 3-1 on the season, the program's best start through four games since 2007. Bates is 2-1 in NESCAC play, its best start in conference action since 2002.
