Moriah Greenstein (Glenmount, N.Y.) scored seven goals while dishing out 11 assists in three games last week, helping the Bates Women’s lacrosse team to a 2-1 record, including a 12-6 victory over Wesleyan University in NESCAC play.
The junior tied a career-high with eight points on four goals and four assists in Tuesday's action, as Bates defeated the University of Southern Maine 17-2 at Garcelon field. The attacker scored twice in the opening minute of play, and went on to score more points in the game against the Huskies than she had in two previous games combined.
Greenstein followed up that performance with another eight points on two goals and six assists in the 12-6 win over NESCAC rival Wesleyan University. On Sunday, she scored one goal with three assists in an 11-8 loss to Stevens Institute of Technology.
Greenstein is currently leading the Bobcats with 24 points through the first five games, and is leading the NESCAC in assists with 13. She is tied with teammate Emma Brinkman for third place in the conference in goals, with 11.
