Charlie Fay (Falmouth, Maine) scored eight goals and five assists in a 2-0 week for the men's lacrosse team, helping the Bobcats secure a pair of crucial NESCAC victories.

Fay scored four goals and had one assist on Wednesday night in a 15-8 victory over Bowdoin College, the first win over the Polar Bears since 2013, and their first at Ryan Field since the 2005 NESCAC tournament.

On Saturday afternoon, Fay scored another four goals and dished out three assists in a 16-8 come-from-behind victory over NESCAC opponent Connecticut College. The Camels jumped out to an early 7-3 lead in this game, but the Bobcats answered with an unprecedented 13 unanswered goals, shutting down Connecticut College on offense for over 32 minutes in the win.

Bates (6-4, 3-4 NESCAC) returns to action April 7 against No. 1 ranked Tufts University for a 7:00 p.m. start.
