Senior Corky Harrer led the way as Bates placed seventh in the men's 20K classical technique mass start races Saturday, on the only day of Nordic racing at the Dartmouth Carnival at Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Harrer (Minneapolis, Minn.) led a veteran trio of top performers for the Bates men in 24th place out of 69, with a time of 49:51.9, good for 46 team carnival points and seven NCAA points.
