Bates senior defender Cara Cappellini (Manhasset, N.Y.) caused four turnovers, including two solo takeaways in the final four minutes as Bates held off rallying Hamilton in an 8-7 victory on Saturday. Cappellini and the Bates defense continues to lead the NESCAC in goals allowed per game (5.30).
