Junior slotback Frank Williams caught nine passes for 223 yards and scored touchdowns of three, 63 and 73 yards as Bates defeated the Williams College Ephs, for the fifth time in the past six years, by a final score of 29-17. Williams flirted with Bates' single-game receiving yards record of 257 set by Chris Plante '94 against Trinity in 1991.

Although Williams is Bates' most accomplished offensive player, this was more receiving yards than he had accumulated in his career before Saturday. 

He was also named the NESCAC Offensive Player of the Week. Williams is Bates' first NESCAC Offensive Player of the Week since slotback Shawn Doherty '14 won the award on September 29, 2013.
