Senior captain Trevor Lyons (South Hamilton, Mass.) recorded his 10th career interception in Saturday's Senior Day game against Hamilton at Garcelon Field. Lyons also recorded five tackles (three solo) to finish his career with 129 total tackles.
Bates honored 12 seniors including Lyons before the game. This year's senior class also includes: Sean Antonuccio (Boxford, Mass.), Kentavius Dumas (Atlanta, Ga.), James Fagan (Lynnfield, Mass.), Sam Francis (Newburyport, Mass.), Mitch Hildreth (Needham, Mass.), Tyler Janssen (Glastonbury, Conn.), Ivan Reese (Savannah, Ga.), Andrew Segal (Glencoe, Ill.), Ryan Spillane (Medfield, Mass.), Mark Upton (Winthrop, Mass.) and Brandon Williams (Gardner, Mass.).
This year's senior class is the first senior class since 1931 to win three consecutive outright CBB series crowns.
