On Friday, in a 6-3 loss to No. 21 nationally ranked Brandeis, Bates received its lone singles point from senior Olivia Voccola (Falmouth, Maine), who downed Ariana Ishaq 6-4, 6-0 at No. 6.

Then on Saturday against Mt. Holyoke at No. 3 doubles, Voccola and sophomore Hannah Londoner won 8-6 over Amy Chen and Clara Wang.

Following her doubles victory, Voccola won her second singles match in as many days, defeating Catherine Peabody 6-3, 7-5 at No. 4.

The Bobcats prevailed 9-0 over Mt. Holyoke to improve their record to 2-3 on the season.
