Senior captain Kyle Flaherty (Litchfield, Maine) was a workhorse for Bates on Saturday at Bowdoin, carrying the ball 15 times for 56 yards and two touchdowns.

On second and goal, Flaherty punched it in from four yards out to put the Bobcats up 7-0 with 8:33 left in the second quarter.

With 1:26 left in the third quarter, Flaherty scored from one yard out to cut the Bowdoin lead to 24-14. He ran the ball 10 times on the 13-play drive for the Bobcats. 

Flaherty has five career touchdowns at Bates entering his final game this Saturday at noon against Hamilton on Garcelon Field.
