Bates women's track and field first-year Alisandra Lindos won the triple jump and the Bobcats finished fifth overall at the NESCAC Championships, held Saturday and Sunday at the Weston Athletic Complex.

Lindos led a 1-2 Bates finish in the triple jump with her personal-record leap of 38-11.5 (11.87m), becoming the first NESCAC champion in any event for the Bates women's team since 2019 and the first women's team rookie to capture a conference title since 2017. Lindos currently ranks 13th in all of NCAA Division III in the triple jump.
