Junior Kody Greenhalgh led Bates with 17 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals in a 93-73 victory at Salem State University on Sunday. He scored his 17 points in just 19 minutes of playing time.

The game remained close over the first ten minutes of action before Greenhalgh (Warwick, R.I) sparked Bates with seven first-half points off the bench, and his layup at the 7:59 mark gave the Bobcats a 24-19 lead.

Greenhalgh tallied a steal and converted a layup on a pass from first-year Andrew Snoddy with 6:36 left, prompting a Salem State timeout with the Bates lead at 72-61.

Greenhalgh had 10 points after halftime, going 4-of-6 from the field.
