Victoria Friedrich joined the Bates Athletics Sports Medicine Team as a Certified Athletic Trainer in July 2026.
Friedrich earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Connecticut in 2026 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Education Studies from the University of Puget Sound in 2023, where she was a member of the Loggers' women's swimming team.
During her graduate clinical education, Friedrich completed immersive athletic training experiences with the University of Connecticut women's lacrosse program and Trinity College football. She developed individualized rehabilitation programs, performed orthopedic and neurological evaluations, managed return-to-play progressions, provided practice and competition coverage, and worked closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support student-athlete care.
Her additional clinical experiences included rotations with multiple varsity sports at Trinity College, E.O. Smith High School, and Woodstock Academy, where she gained experience in injury evaluation, therapeutic treatments, rehabilitation, and emergency care across a variety of athletic settings.
Friedrich is certified by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers and holds certifications in Basic Life Support, First Aid, and lifeguarding.
