Bates College

Ned Parker joined the Bates College men’s lacrosse coaching staff in September 2025, bringing six years of on-field coaching and athletic operations experience. Parker comes to Bates after serving as the face-off specialist coach at Boston University, where he helped guide the Terriers to a Patriot League Championship appearance and a No. 15 national ranking. Under his leadership, two freshman face-off specialists combined for a 55% win rate, with one earning Patriot League Face-off Specialist of the Week honors three times.

In addition to his work at BU, Parker has coached Prime Time Events’ college recruiting teams and coordinated large-scale lacrosse events across New England, increasing event revenue and attendance through his leadership. He previously served as assistant coach, recruiting coordinator, and academic advisor at UMass-Boston, where he helped the Beacons reach two NCAA tournaments and capture the program’s first regular-season title.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Parker led more than 170 security patrols in Afghanistan as a small unit leader, earning a Combat Action Ribbon and honorable discharge.

He holds an MBA from Boston College and a bachelor’s degree in management and finance from UMass-Boston.
