2007-2008:

Indoor Track Season: Won All-American honors, finishing eighth in the 20-pound weight throw at NCAAChampionships, becoming the 13th Bates woman to achieve All-Americastatus in indoor track and field and the second to win the award inthe weight throw..... At ECACs, finished fifth in theshot put, at 41'01.50" (four points).... Scored two points at OpenNew Englands with a seventh-place finish in theweight throw to put Bates in a tie with Middlebury for 21st placeout of 32 scoring teams at the meet; finished 12th in the shot put,at 41'06.50".... At State of Maine Championships, Duncan hadvictories in both the weight throw (55'08.50") and the shot put,where she surpassed the 40-foot mark for the first time at40'05.00".

Outdoor Track Season: Named to the 2008ESPN The Magazine  Academic All-District women'strack & field/cross country team.... Named to the U.S. Trackand Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's 2008 AcademicAll-America team, by virtue of qualifying for the NCAAChampionships while maintaining the requisite grade point averageof 3.25.... Competed in both the shot put (12th out of 19) andhammer throw (15th) at the NCAA Outdoor Division III Track andField Championships.... At Open New Englands, finished second inthe shot put with a personal-record mark of 46 feet and 7.25inches, automatically qualifying for the NCAA Division III OutdoorChampionships; Duncan followed her sixth-place performance in thehammer throw preliminaries by placing second only to Marsha Lockeof Sacred Heart (48-11.75) in the finals to score eight team pointsfor Bates.

 Placed second in the shot put, with a top effort of41-04.50, as well fourth in the hammer at 153-03 at New EnglandDivision III Championships.... Won the NESCAC title in the shotput and finished third at NESCACs in the hammer andfourth in the discus throw.... Named All-New England in the shotand the hammer.
